Biography:
Bo-Katan Kryze is a Mandalorian warrior and leader prominent in the Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars. She first appeared in the episode "Death Watch" (Season , Episode ).
Initially a lieutenant in the Death Watch, a Mandalorian splinter group seeking a return to their warrior past, she served under Pre Vizsla. Following Vizsla's death at the hands of Darth Maul, Bo-Katan refused to acknowledge Maul's leadership and led a faction against him.
Throughout The Clone Wars and its sequel series, Rebels, Bo-Katan's allegiance shifted as she fought for the liberation of Mandalore. She eventually wielded the Darksaber and briefly ruled as Mand'alor, the leader of all Mandalorians. Her claim to the Darksaber and leadership is a recurring theme in The Mandalorian.
